STATHAM ACADEMY ASIA BASKET TEAM

Statham Academy is the first team outside of Asia to be invited to the premier Asia Basket Invitational. This tournament will take place November 3rd through 12th at Dasmariñas Arena right outside of Manila, Philippines. The Philippines sets the bar for basketball fans all over the world. This tournament serves as an opportunity to give our young college graduates looking to go pro & coaching staff- professional experience and exposure to more than 20 professional leagues within the region.

We’re also very excited to be hosting multiple free camps in different provinces in the Philippines for underprivileged kids. With many giveaways from shoe and apparel brands we have partnered with.

At Glendale College in 2019 was All Western State Conference First-Team Selecton…Averaged 18.6 ppg, shooting 43% from 3-point.

Bio: While at Vanguard was a 1x All-American, 2x All-Conference, Emil S. Liston Award (character, leadership, academics, athletics achievement award), and an Academic All-District Team. Also Won a GSAC Championship. For three seasons (2020-2023) ranked #1 in the country for assists, top ten in the country, and then 2nd in conference in assists.

At San Diego City College (19-20) was All-Conference and ranked 2nd in assists in California.

Bio: Allex Austin has played two seasons overseas for FIBA International Basketball in Africa where he averaged 31.2 points and 16.2 rebounds per game, and the French Polynesia. Collegiately Allex attended Baylor University as a duel sport athlete competing in Basketball and Track and field on full ride scholarship. During 2019-2020, Allex attended University of Antelope Valley, earning another full ride scholarship in Basketball and completing his Master’s degree in Education.
