Best Available Unsigned Recruits (High School, Junior College, Transfers)

Recruit List:
Here’s a list of players we work with that are currently open to recruitment.

High School:

Brandon Boldroff 6’3” Wing Canyon High School class of 2022. 3.5 GPA. Was a key contributor on varsity as a sophomore. Multiple 10 point, 5 assists games. He looks like he lives in the weight room and attacks the rim like it as well. Possesses great footwork which helps him get easy shots & finishes. Good knock down three point shooter. Plays relentlessly on both ends of the floor. Smart basketball player who works hard while playing in the flow of the game. A solid D2/ NAIA prospect. Could be a higher level recruit depending on his development down the line.

Cody Chalker 5’11” Guard Hart High School class of 2022. 4.15 GPA!! Tough nosed guard. Does all the little things. Can really space the floor with his ability to knock down the three at a high clip. Never plays outside of himself, team first guy. Gets out in transition and finds his way to the rim. Does damage in that second level of scoring: getting to his floater or stepback. Rebounds really well for his size. Would be a good fit for a fast paced, high scoring D3 program.

James Evans, 6’6” (Top 25 ranked) G/F, West Ranch High School class of 2024. Man child. It’s unbelievable how explosive and strong he is at such a young age. In a day and age of position less basketball Evans is exactly that. Naturally he’ll play big on varsity because of his potential to dominate the low post, control the glass, and block shots. What will surprise people is his ability to get a defensive rebound, push it past pressure swiftly, and score in traffic over older, more experienced players. When he’s on the AAU circuit don’t be surprised to see him on the wing or handling the ball more. Has really good instincts and can really shoot well from the mid range off the bounce/ face up. Because of his strength and shooting technique he can shoot beyond the Fiba line but can really heat up from the high school three. No doubt a potential high to mid major D1 player.

Corey Cofield, 6’5” (247 Sports 3 star) SG/ SF, West Ranch class of 2021. Averaged 18 points per game while leading Birmingham to division II State quarterfinals as a junior. Named All CIF, Daily News All Area, and Cali-Hi Sports All State Team. Offered a scholarship from Loyola Marymount University beginning of his junior season. Cofield is a high caliber D1 athlete (explosive, long, & quick) with a strong skill set. One of the best 2 way players on the West Coast. Really takes pride in defense and being a leader, extremely aggressive. Really good mechanics on his jump shot, with consistent NBA range on the catch and shoot.Very hard to contain in transition, off the bounce, and even on the glass (double-double most games). Going to be a steal for a mid to low major D1 program. If I was a high major D2 I’d take advantage of the confusion caused by the pandemic and sign him before EYBL season.

Carson Golden 5’11” Combo guard West Ranch class of 2023. Moved up to varsity as a sophomore on a team with 3 D1 prospects. Work ethic unmatched no matter what day of the week it is. Extended his range and is a knock down shooter. Aggressive on defense and rebounds very well despite his size. Crafty, always finds away to score around the key- tough finishes, step throughs, and floaters. Moves off ball very well.

Sam Goldman (Jewish decent) 6’2” SG Hart High School class of 2021. 4.13 GPA!! After receiving his first offer from division 3 Augsburg University he shot the lights out at West Coast Elite 100, securing a spot in the top 100 game. He’s being recruited by 7 D3 basketball programs at the moment. Goldman can really stretch a defense out the way he heats up from downtown with little to no room. Creates a lot of space off the dribble. Finishes well around the rim.

Devyn Hughes 6’0” PG/SG Ribet Academy class of 2022. 3.5 GPA. Averaged 10 points and 3 assists per game at Paraclete High as a sophomore, with a 20 point game vs. Campbell Hall. Hughes is a good mix of smoothness and aggression. He can shoot well, is left handed so the way he moves is unorthodox with great pace, but then when he attacks he attacks with a fury! Takes pride on the defense side. Looking to have a breakout year this upcoming season on a bigger stage.

Hank Kaufman 6’5” Forward Hart HS class of 2023. 3.8 GPA. Tough nosed, long wing who can really rebound the ball!! Mobile enough to guard guards. Strong and athletic enough to guard bigs. Smart player who’s always in the right place at the right time. Gets to the rim swift & powerfully. Can step out behind the arc keeping defenses honest. Good footwork off the bounce. A lot of potential, averaged almost 18 points and 20 rebounds on the freshman team last year. Going to be interesting to see how he transitions to the varsity level after an offseason spent in the lab.

Niko Limbert Limberopoulos 6’3” G Oak Park High School class of 2023. Tough, in your face, ultra competitive guard. Played varsity as a freshman at oak park which produces D1 players year in and year out. Crafty playmaker. Really good in the first two levels of scoring. Gets to the key for an assortment of finishes, pull-ups, and kick outs. He’s a very good athlete who crashes and cleans up the glass. Has added 25 pounds of muscle since his freshman season. Will be interesting to watch with the departure of Player of The Year and Penn signee Clark Slajchert.

Bryan Malcolm 6’2” G West Ranch class of 2021. 3.2 GPA. Smooth playmaking guard who had a handful of 12+ point performances last season on a senior heavy team off the bench. This year he should be a key piece starting alongside three potential D1 players. His long arms and quick feet allow him to create problems on defense. Offensively he’s a knock down shooter with a smooth handle. High IQ player. Really good footwork around the rim. Game would fit into a good NAIA program instantly.

Andrew Meadow, 6’7” G/ F, West Ranch class of 2023. 3.7 GPA. Played varsity as a freshman, averaged 25 ppg pre season. All Foothill League honoree. Cali Scorebook and Silver Waves Media ranked among Southern California 23’ prospects. Meadow has a skillset and mindset well beyond his years. When the dust settles he will be a top 10 player in his class. With a 6’7” 210+ pound frame he’s a matchup nightmare. He can shoot from NBA range off the catch or dribble consistently. Attacks the rim like a man among boys, while possessing great footwork and touch in the key. He has relentless aggression looking to dunk the ball in traffic or on the break. Very hard to stop him from getting to his mid range pull-up because he creates so much separation and can shoot falling in any direction. Reads screens well with the ability to set up teammates for easy buckets. Grew up playing point guard so his IQ and reads are like that of a chess player, always steps ahead seeing plays develop. This has led to him being a 20 and 10 every night kind of guy. Explosive scorer who most recently had the highest single game points at Pango’s Premier 80, 29 points in 15 minutes of play. Top 40 game at WCE 100 which showcased the best players in the country. It’s hard to compare him to any player since he can play the 1-4 at a D1 level already. Mix that with his insane work ethic and you have a future pro. I rarely use that verbatim but can confidently say that when he spent all quarantine dominating college players and holding his own against pros. Already offered by Washington State University, invited to fly to Israel to work with the National Team, and offered an opportunity to play in the Grind Session. Andrew Meadow is without a doubt a high major D1 prospect.

Gavin Moehring (English UK duel passport holder) 6’4” Wing, class of 2023. 3.5 GPA. The first thing that stands out is he’s already built like a Big 12 wide receiver. At 16 years old he is still very raw, but extremely athletic. He’s an interesting prospect for that reason alone. He’s powerful getting to and finishing above the rim. Fearless attacking the rim, even saw him jump over a kid trying to take a charge his freshman year trying to dunk (threw it too hard off the back iron). Has the ability to heat up from downtown. Much improved off the dribble creating space into an assortment of jumpers. Can guard every position on the floor. Big time rebounder. Playing varsity as a sophomore.

Leo Philip (South Sudan & American passport holder) 6’4” Wing, Minnesota Prep Academy class of 2021. 2.8 GPA. Averaged 11, 6, and 4 last season. Sweet stroking wing with big upside. Older brother Dom plays for South Sudan’s National Team and is a high flyer! Leo’s 6’8” wingspan gives him a huge advantage around the rim and on the other end contesting/ blocking shots. This prep year will be great for him. He’s already gained 12 pounds of muscle since summer.

L to R: Top- Joshua Assiff, Amari Robinson, Bryan Malcolm. Bottom- Sam Skipper, Anthony Gallo, Akin Branco.

Amari Robinson 6’1” PG, Alemany High School class of 2022. 3.0 GPA. Athletic guard who played varsity as a sophomore at Van Nuys. A pesty defender who’s quickness and active hands overwhelm guards. I can’t even call him a gym rat because all of quarantine every gym was shut down so he was working out outdoors 2-3 days everyday. He’s a grinder! Always had a great pull up game, but has recently extended his range well beyond the three. Robinson flies past the defense in transition that leads to easy finishes and dunks. He will have big shoes to fill with the departure of Brandon Whitney (University of Montana).

Zach Williams 6’3” SG/ SF, Oaks Christian School class of 2021. Arguably the best shooter in California. Smooth stroke off the catch/ dribble. High level skillset, fundamentals, and efficiency. Averaged 16 points per game as a junior before a huge offseason with West Coast Elite that earned him interests from a variety of schools from D1, D2, NAIA, and a handful of offers from D3 schools. Can run him off screens or have the ball in his hands, both options are just as deadly. If he can add 15 pounds of muscle he can be a low major D1 player. Right now I can see him playing in the Pac West (D2) or GSAC (NAIA) next season.

Junior College:

Joshua Assiff 6’8” SF/ Stretch 4, Antelope Valley College, Freshman. This All Foothill League selectee out of Valencia had a big year for Impact Academy’s prep school team this season. Held interest from many D1 and D2 programs but was an NCAA non qualifier. His ability to handle the ball, rebound, and shoot from three make him a versatile 4 man. You can also move him to the wing for a bigger line up. Mix his length with his craftiness around the rim which gives him an advantage when he gets to his spots. During high school he grew so fast he was playing catch up with his body. Now working with Laurian Watkins at PSSA you can see the difference in the way he looks and moves athletically. With much upside it’ll be interesting to see how he develops.

Akin Branco (Nigerian American) 6’3” Sophomore Wing, Western Oklahoma College, 3 years of eligibility. Averaged 8.2 points and 3.1 rebounds at Mt. Sac College his freshman year. Gained much D1 interests after dominating back to back All American Juco Showcases. He is without a doubt a D1 player. One of the most explosive athlete in the nation. His work ethic is second to none to go along with a high level skill set. Very aggressive on both ends with uncanny ability to get to the rim or pull up at will. He’s very much improved on his catch and shoot three (29% in 2019). Branco lives and breathes the game of basketball. He would be a steal for a mid major D1 program. During the last few summer dominated open gyms with D1 and pro players, and is finally learning how to translate that to high level college basketball. Which requires higher efficiency because of all the scouting and defensive schemes.

Anthony Gallo 6’1” PG/SG Canyon HS class of 2020. 4.0 GPA!! Taking college classes at UC Merced. Smooth shooting scorer who’s always playing with pace. Good handle, strong body, and explosive first step. Three level scorer who was under recruited, hidden in canyon country. Tireless worker and leader on & off the court. Has the ability to play good defense and be a 5+ rebounds per game guard. First team All Foothill League.

Chris Joo (Korean American), 5’9” PG/SG College of the Canyons, 3 years of eligibility. Let’s start with his dog mentality. He’s grown into a true leader who sets the tone defensively. His lightening quick speed allows him to press guards 94 feet the entire game. His strong frame allows him to control small guards and disrupt big guards who think they have a size advantage. Secondly what stands out his his ability to score in a multitude of ways. The first being his jump shot. He has the ability to knock down 10-15 in a row from NBA range. Off the dribble he’s finally learned pace which allows him to pick apart defenses. With the ability to get to the rim, floater, or key to create havoc- this opens up opportunities to get to his pullbacks, stepbacks, in n out push dribble to the side, and stopping on a dime for a pull-up. Uses the pick and roll very well and is extremely elusive in transition. He’s a late bloomer with an unmatched work ethic, hence why he flew under the radar in high school and needed a few years to truly develop. His size being a red flag for some coaches is why he would be a great NAIA guard (All League caliber) or D2 6th man off the bench sparking a team.

Austin Galuppo (Italian & American passport holder) 6’5” Sophomore SG/ SF, Blinn College (Weber State University transfer) Can shoot the ball from ANYWHERE on the court! High arching shot with supreme confidence (scored 2000 points in hs). Has added over 25 pounds of muscle since graduating.. Quick first step and really bouncy when he has a few steps, known to dunk on late help side defenders frequently. Handles the ball well, creating a lot of separation before he rises up for a pull up. One year on the national Juco scene and he will be back at a Mid major D1 program ready to be one of their leading scorers for two years.

Collin Grant 5’10” sophomore PG, Mt San Jacinto. Lightning fast guard who changes speeds extremely well. Can light it up all over the floor with range! Older junior college guard.. With age comes poise and leadership. A pesty in your face defender with quick hands. Can really set the tone on defense and push the ball offensively catching opposing teams making mistakes. Gets the ball moving like it’s hot potato.

Transfers:

Noah Bigrumwami (Duel passport holder in Rwanda) 6’10” Graduate senior (1 year left) Stretch 4/5, Chicago State. Unbelievable work ethic! Spent the entire off season expanding his game and living in the weight room. Versatile big who has a unique ability to handle the ball and make great passes at his size. Can guard every position on the floor because of his quick feet, length, and strength. Double digit rebounder. Good touch around the rim, but loves working out of the mid-post. Has the ability to consistently knock down the 3, stretching out the defense and allowing him to attack off the bounce. Previously recruited by Rwanda National Team.

Jalen Riley 6’2” Sophomore (2 years left) combo guard, UT Martin. Saw his role expand in his sophomore year by playing lock down defense and making the right plays offensively. Clocked 30 min vs #10 Baylor before ending his season early with an injury. With 2 years left this veteran guard is going to step in a program and lead instantly. Has the ability to control an offense while guarding the other teams best scorer. A strong explosive guard who gets to the rim at will. Has a good mid range game and has added range keeping defenses honest. Great change of speed. Was on Honor Roll at UT Martin.

Sam Skipper 6’2” Junior (2 years left) SG, College of the Desert. After averaging 17.9 and 12.7 points per game in his two years for the roadrunners. An electric and explosive athlete with a superb ability to finish plays over help side defenders. Great in the open floor with the ability to distribute. Has a good handle to go along with a smooth mid range game. Plays both ends of the floor with aggression. Gets many deflections and steals in the passing lane.
